You are cordially invited to the next art exhibit at Hibbleton Gallery, entitled “The Oh No! Show” featuring the photography of Psyko Boys and a special burlesque performance by Coco Ono. The opening reception is Friday, January 5th from 6-10pm during the Downtown Fullerton Art Walk. As always this event is FREE and open to the public.

ABOUT FERNANDO AND JAMES / PSYKO BOYS:

The partnership of Psyko Boys was established in 2007 in the city of Anaheim as a photographer and makeup artist duo. Very early on they began to notice the current art, music and overall entertainment industry was becoming too predictable and lacked originality. The new age of paparazzi began. Celebrities, known for nothing more than being famous for fame’s sake, paired with the peak of “Reality TV” created a vacuum for real art. Psyko Boys has created a hyper-reality with their signature style that celebrates the sexy, cute, dark, campy, and ironic side of entertainment. Fernando and James work primarily with performers, musicians, designers, painters, dancers, and unique entertainers; a like minded group of people who enjoy inventing the “new”, with original content as their number one goal.

ABOUT KAYLA TANGE / COCO ONO:

Coco Ono is a sexually complex, darkly comedic character Kayla Tange performs as every Wednesday night at the Del Monte in Venice with The Bootleg Bombshells burlesque group. Other venues around Los Angeles and New York include: Jumbo’s Clownroom, Globe Theater, Highline Ballroom and Slipper Room.

She uses food, paint and balloons in her often messy performances expressing themes of love, longing, societal taboos, cultural stereotyping, fetish and death.
