Hope U Art Show and Fundraiser

Hope-Flyer

Hibbleton Gallery and Hope University announce The Hope U $100 Art Sale and Fundraiser, an exhibition featuring an intriguing collection of more than thirty gorgeously framed artworks by 19 artists living with disabilities.

The selection spans a wide range of mediums from drawing, painting, printmaking, scratchboard, and watercolor; offering visitors a great opportunity to purchase affordable, original art for a mere $100 each, while supporting a great cause.

The exhibition will be housed at Hibbleton Gallery, a member of the Magoski Art Colony, located at 223 W. Santa Fe Avenue, Fullerton, CA. The opening reception will be held on Friday, September 5th, from 6-10pm in conjunction with the First Friday Fullerton Art Walk.

“When you purchase a work of art by one of these unique artists,” says Exhibition Cooridinator, Lisa Lo Russo, “you support the artist and a vision for the future of Hope University in which more individuals can be touched by the transformational work taking place within its walls.”

Your purchase helps Hope University realize a long held dream to acquire its own facility so that they can better serve those who come through their doors with inspirational work in the arts.

About Hope University:

Hope University transforms the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities through the arts. Hope University’s offerings include all art forms, and we serve 66 adults with intellectual disabilities. The Hi Hopes, the Hope U band, continue to perform, and just like any professional band, they have their own trailer with their name on it, and they have recorded countless albums. Hope University’s students participate in art exhibitions, perform in the hand-bell choir or vocal choir, perform dances and dramas, and learn to play instruments, and more. There are many very talented artists and performers here at Hope University, but opportunities are available to anyone who is interested in or motivated by the arts.
